Meet Cherie & Marilyn

A family story,
stitched together.

I’m Cherie Moore. My mom, Marilyn, and I started Moore & Moore Quilting out of our love for the quilting community.

We began with our own quilt tops, a longarm machine, and plenty to learn. As our confidence grew, we quilted our first customer’s top. Today, we work with two longarm machines and offer everything from fabric cutting to completing a full quilt.

We know how much time and effort each piece takes. Every quilt entrusted to us is treated as if it were our own.

More than a business

A new chapter.
A familiar kind of care.

After more than 25 years in restaurant management, I finally had time to explore quilting. My husband encouraged me to find a hobby after retirement, and the quilting community welcomed me in.

We moved back to the area from Florida in 2021 to be closer to family. With two grown sons and two grandchildren, we love spending time together and finding reasons to celebrate.

I purchased a Baby Lock Regalia with Pro-Stitcher and began learning all things quilting. There were frustrating moments and plenty of time with a seam ripper before I was ready to offer my work to customers. Mom and I kept learning, added a second longarm, and built this business together.
